I have to say that I LOVED this wedding. Everything about it was so personal and beautiful. Amanda and Brett had such amazing hearts and so much love between each other. They had a simple and beautiful ceremony at a lovely location that of course made the day all that much better. I have to say as a photographer having a great location with awesome light and awesome settings is one of the best things to do to make your wedding epic! No joke, from the farmers market to a metro park, this location was one of those ones I will remember for a long time and I am sure the guests will as well.
Everything happened right at Indian Spring Metropark and we had so much time to get so many amazing shots that everything about the day was perfect. The couple saw each other before hand and I have to say that it really made their couple pics. The ceremony was outdoors and reception inside this eco friendly structure. The lake and secluded area was so wonderful.

There was alot of this going on all day!
The best thing in the world is when a bride and groom really ENJOY getting married!
The under water observatory. Cool.
This wedding was a labor of love, handmade fun everywhere with alot of unique additions to the day, which of course is super refershing! These two designed their invites, programs, decorations, etc. There are SO many awesome moments that it is going to be a very image heavy post. Congrats to Liz and Joel!!
I LOVED the flowers in her sisters hair. Awesome!
Awesome ring as well!
Liz and Joel saw each other before the wedding, which is super nice for any photographer.
Loved the bags they used for the rings, so cute!
The church was beautiful and SO great about us being able to walk around and use the space. You always have to check because some church’s won’t let the photographers move around at all during the ceremony.
After the wedding everyone walked to the reception. There was a guitar player and rose petals, very cool.
The reception took place at the Ann Arbor Farmer’s Market and the awesome EVE restaurant catered the event.

Even though it rained for a little while, it was worth it for the beautiful rainbow!
For those of you who don’t know, the farmers market and Eve are located right around Kerry Town in Ann Arbor. Love it!
I posted this a few weeks back, but just once more, awesome cake!
All lit up!
It was a beautiful location, beautiful night and lots of fun…
Ok, this wedding was literally one of the worst days I have had in a long time. But wait, it wasn’t because of the wedding! The wedding was beautiful, the bride gorgeous and the people wonderful. I on the other hand felt like death, the worst ever. About two weeks before this beautiful occasion I was thinking how I had never been sick at a wedding before, bad idea! Don’t think about these things because then they happen and in the worst ways. Luckily everything worked out wonderfully, thanks to lots of drugs and an amazing hubby who always backs me up.
Here is a preview and some of my faves from this ROCKIN wedding!!
The last shot of the night! When I was sick and laying on the ground, Mike took this cute little pic. So sweet. I can’t wait to take pics for your after wedding shoot guys!
Here we go again.
Life is getting back to normal after a crazy two weeks of wedding fun and now the photos will be flowing again!
Hope you enjoy because I am excited to get in the swing of things again after having my beautiful baby girl!
So here is a preview of the beautiful Marian and Dan’s wedding extravaganza! The wedding and reception took place at the fabulous Inn at St. John’s. I loved it because throughout the grounds was amazing, even the chapel had good lighting which isn’t always the case. We worked with two very sweet videographers from
A Moment Forever and DJ Daniel Dettloff from Elite Entertainment.
Now, on to the good stuff!!!
So I thought I would post a quick update to why I have been missing in action for awhile now. As most of you who read this know we had a baby girl on November 6th of last year. Well recently we have been struggling with feeding issues. I don’t want to get into detail here but she isn’t gaining weight fast enough and won’t take a bottle to supplement food. This has resulted in many sleepless nights for me and thus my mind hasn’t been able to wrap around work, cleaning, blogging, etc. etc. On top of this our basement flooded again and so Mike has had to deal with fixing that while dealing with a sleep deprived wife. So we love our baby girl, we are enjoying her when we are awake and functioning, but for now blogging will have to wait. Here are a few recent pics.
So, life really changes when you have a baby. I knew that already since I had my first beautiful baby boy 3.5 years ago, but the reality check really hits home when you are sleeping very little and exhausted from caring for everyone but yourself. Well I am starting to feel like myself again, and I believe that I can possibly get caught up on some of the things that need to get done around the house and for the business. Yeah! Christmas is just around the corner and I am very excited for my baby girls first Christmas (although she won’t have a clue what is going on!) and also the first year that Parker really gets it and is excited about the holidays. Since my baby girl is almost a month old (crazy!), I thought I would post a few more pics from the last couple of weeks.
Enjoy!
