Absolute favorite from the day!
The reception was held at The H in Midland Michigan

This was a very special wedding, not just because of the love, the family or the fun. But from a photographers stand point everything was very lovely. Not only was it well organized but we had all the best lighitng, set ups and locations. I am happy to post some favorites from this great wedding. There may be a few to many so I am going to post a few blogs. Here are the getting ready pics.
Leann and Brians wedding was really something special. The wedding took place at Leann’s parents house on the lake and was so pretty. I loved the details and the joy throughout the whole night! Jen House did a great job organizing this wedding, check her out at A Moment In Time. Here are a few images from the day.
This is the first photo of the day, very fitting.
This monkey was left with Leann so that she would have something to cuddle up to the night before the big day!
Tea set Leann’s mom left for her in the morning.
Awesome shoes!
Children’s book given to bride the day of the wedding. Too cute!
Love! There was so much love going around all day, very awesome family.
Sneaking a peak!
Brian came over on a pontoon.
Fave!
I have been loving shots of people signing their marriage license. Not sure why…
I apologize ahead of time for the multitude of dancing shots. I have to say that everyone should get married on the lake and dance at sunset. It was so pretty I couldn’t stop shooting.
We took a ride on a boat.
Goodnight!
This past few weeks have been a whirl wind. We have been traveling, shooting, vacationing and working on our house. Between all of that I have been blessed with some of the best couples ever and some of the best weddings! I have to say that Kaytie and Shawn were a joy to work with. They were wonderfully in love and so funny with each other. We had so much fun shooting their wedding! Meadow Brook Hall was gorgeous and we had a ton of time for photos which is always a pleasure. Here are a few from Kaytie and Shawns special day!
We entered Lilah in a little local contest to win a $50 gift card to my favorite boutique in Holland, Tip Toes! She is a doll and if you want to vote for her that would be awesome. All you have to do is like her photo.
Her wardrobe would greatly appreciate it! And if we win I will post pics of her in the outfit we get her too!
Also, sorry for the lack of blogging! It will be picking up soon. I promise. On top of trying to edit the thousands of photos we have in wait we have been ripping up our bathroom as well (pics to come) and then on top of that aren’t in town for a week for funeral, photos, weddings and lots of other things that have taken up our time. I have to say though that the past few weddings we have been privileged to be a part of have been amazing and just a riot! We are having a golden summer and I couldn’t be happier with all my wonderful brides and grooms! Love you guys and your awesomeness!! See you August 9th/10th again for more blog happiness!
It has been awhile since I last posted. Every year I say that I am going to slow down for the summer, shot less, work less, play more. Well it seams that I am working more, shooting more and playing more. All of this adds up to busy, busy, busy! So a few weekends back Mike and I traveled to Richmond Virgina and shot the beautiful wedding of Michele and Eric and had alot of fun in the proccess. Here is a big old blog post of favorite.
Virgina was just beautiful and we had such a great trip, both flights were awesome and the hotel and city were the funnest. We traveled along with Michele, Eric and family to some fun wine tasting and sight seeing and these are a few of the beautiful things we saw along the way.
We headed to the capital for a few shots of the wedding party and Michele and Eric. They were golden in front of the camera, the light was gorgeous and the day went without a hitch!
These two lovely girls are my awesome brother in laws sisters. We love them and their family very much because without them my sister wouldn’t have found the love of her life either.
The best part about this wedding (photography speaking) is the lovely reception location! The Hanover Tavern was amazing and exactly my favorite type of party venue!
And another fave from the inside of the awesome tavern!
Goodnight Virginia, I hope we get to visit again soon!
Congrats Michele and Eric, everything was gorgeous and I know you are going to have a happy life together! Enjoy each other and all the love for years to come!
I have been out of commission for awhile now, sick as a dog and so far behind on my blog posts. So here is Lisa and Frank and their gorgeous Detroit wedding. We love Lisa and Frank and were so excited to see them again for their big day. You guys rock!!
LOVED Lisa’s dress, so classy.
The ring pillow was one of my favorite details from the day.
Lisa found some red doors that she wanted to stop at before heading to Belle Isle.
Lisa and Frank were married outside at Belle Isle Conservatory. Very pretty.
Second fave!

Two little guys entered the dance floor and stole the show…
Daddy daughter dances always get me crying.

My second favorite little detail of the day was the awesome cake topper!!
Check out the current The Knot Magazine Michigan, you can see some of Liz and Joel’s fun wedding. We are in the special Ann Arbor section. Liz and Joel’s wedding was at the farmers market over my Kerry Town, Ann Arbor.
