We entered Lilah in a little local contest to win a $50 gift card to my favorite boutique in Holland, Tip Toes! She is a doll and if you want to vote for her that would be awesome. All you have to do is like her photo. Her wardrobe would greatly appreciate it! And if we win I will post pics of her in the outfit we get her too!

Also, sorry for the lack of blogging! It will be picking up soon. I promise. On top of trying to edit the thousands of photos we have in wait we have been ripping up our bathroom as well (pics to come) and then on top of that aren’t in town for a week for funeral, photos, weddings and lots of other things that have taken up our time. I have to say though that the past few weddings we have been privileged to be a part of have been amazing and just a riot! We are having a golden summer and I couldn’t be happier with all my wonderful brides and grooms! Love you guys and your awesomeness!! See you August 9th/10th again for more blog happiness!

Life is getting more complicated…

And so of course you will be seeing me more in the blog world! I have been missing in action due to actually too much time on my hands. I get super busy all summer and do so much more but it never feels like quite enough. On top of the everyday, take care of kids, clean, cook, etc. I now will be adding traveling, shoots, proofing, blogging and so many more things back into my daily routine, so check back for more updates to come! So here are a few little updates.

Addy turned 1 and I took pics of her on a beautiful day and although she had no desire to look at me, I did end up getting some beautiful pics. Here is Addy!

We also shot a one year anniversary shoot for Amy and Matt in Holland this past month. Amy is a fellow photographer and it was fun to meet her and talk business. Congrats on one year guys!

My sis Jenny just recently got engaged and I want to say congrats to her and Kevin! We are of course in the middle of planning and its super fun. Some of you might remember that last year my baby sister was married and of course this made the wedding season much more crazy. So this year we have another wedding and of course that could possibly mean another crazy wedding season. But I am nothing but excited about it! Our brides are awesome this year, absolutly amazing and I can’t wait to work with each and every one of them! And with another wedding on the books we are officially only taking two more weddings in 2010 to close up our season! So if you are on the fence, jump off, or contact us about shooting your wedding. Hope everyone is having an amazing winter and looking forward to the warmth of spring just around the corner!

Christmas is coming!

I have been neglecting the blog lately, I am sorry. I think after wedding season my brain went into OFF mode. I have been shooting here and there, but mostly I have been cuddling the kidos and getting ready for Christmas! So to start off the fun of catching up on blog posts I will post a few fun family shots (since this is how my time has been spent).

My cousin had a beautiful baby girl! I had the joy of spending a weekend up north with them and took a few pics of the new second cousin, once removed. Isn’t she lovely!

Thanksgiving came and went super fast and of course now Christmas is only days away. My family is crazy fun and I am excited to spend some time with them soon!

And of course my hands have been full with the two cutest kids in the whole world. Maybe a little biased here…

So now that I have caught up on almost all my holiday shopping (and crafting this year!), I will attempt to update with a few more blog posts before Christmas! Also, just a quick note to say we are going to have a little contest/giveaway in February, so keep your ears and eyes sharp! Merry Christmas!

I can not believe it! My baby girl is a year old today! It just goes by so fast it is insane. I am so sad that she is growing up but so happy to be blessed with such a beautiful, fun, happy little girl. She could not be more special to me and I just want to say Happy Birthday princess! Here are a few pics from our one year photo shoot. She liked eating the leaves and got super dirty but it was fun.
