Mandy and Joe are married!

We had the pleasure of shooting Mandy and Joe’s wonderful wedding day. It was beautiful outside and everyone seamed to have an awesome time. Congrats to you two! We had a blast hanging with you guys! So here are a few pics from their perfect day.

The church was pretty cool! The lighting was really nice and glowing. I loved it! And they let me move around and get good shots of the wedding, always nice.

Wedding Wire

We received the sweetest review on Wedding Wire today and I just wanted to post it here since I am not sure that many people view the website too often. Anyhow it about made my horrible day (today has been a big let down) and I don’t even know who posted it.

After seeing their blog www.tooleart.com/blog I absolutely had to have them shoot our wedding. Their work is absolutely amazing!!! I love their whole philosophy of shooting every wedding so that it reflects the couples personality. Or how they only take a limited number of weddings each year so they can focus on their couples and get the images edited faster. (only was 2 weeks for us, and they edit every single image, that is awesome!) To top it all off Crystal and Mike are such cool and fun people that it was like having a good friend photograph our wedding. I feel so lucky to have found them, they are really not kidding having Art in their name.

Kerryn and Chris Part Two! Cranbrook Gardens

I had the pleasure of shooting these two again, after their wedding date and it was so awesome. I do suggest doing an after wedding shoot if you want to really use the dress and get some photos that are stress free. And also because it is SO fun for me. Ha. So we went to Cranbrook Gardens and did some “engagement” shots and bridal atire shots. It was FREEZING but I think we still did pretty good.

Wedding time!

It’s always great to go to weddings that I am not working, even better to go to a wedding at home in my pjs with a little popcorn and bubbly for company. Of course being the nerd that I am I mean Jim and Pam’s big wedding tonight! I have been a fan of The Office since day one and of course love Jim and Pam! Happenings!

So I am the type of person who tries to LOVE the little things. This being said I thought I needed to post some of these little things for everyone to enjoy! To start this post off I would like to say, GO SEE ZOMBIELAND! If you don’t mind humorous gore, than I say go and enjoy some Zombieland fun for yourself. The best part about the movie would have to be the rules! Rule number 32 would be Enjoy the Little Things! And of course that should be a rule for EVERYONE!

Next, I found a great Mod Retro Indie Clothing site. No really, it rocks. I haven’t made a purchase yet but will be soon! Check it out! Modcloth

There are a ton of great tops but most of the ones I like are actually sold out, which is a total bummer. Here are a few that I am loving!

Lastly, one of my goals this winter is to learn to knit! I have done it before, but I want to really tackle a project and get something accomplished with it. If it weren’t for shooting weddings all summer I would do much more with my hands. Crafts and painting, anything that I can tackle is always fun. I have been working on my sewing skills and I still want to keep that up but knitting will be my next endeavor. So one project I would love to do is this awesome scarf! The blog is Do you Mind if I Knit and it rocks!

Next I am going to post about the books I have been reading! Lots of fun summer reading that I am dying to share.

Amanda and Brett part one!

I have to say that I LOVED this wedding. Everything about it was so personal and beautiful. Amanda and Brett had such amazing hearts and so much love between each other. They had a simple and beautiful ceremony at a lovely location that of course made the day all that much better. I have to say as a photographer having a great location with awesome light and awesome settings is one of the best things to do to make your wedding epic! No joke, from the farmers market to a metro park, this location was one of those ones I will remember for a long time and I am sure the guests will as well.

Everything happened right at Indian Spring Metropark and we had so much time to get so many amazing shots that everything about the day was perfect. The couple saw each other before hand and I have to say that it really made their couple pics. The ceremony was outdoors and reception inside this eco friendly structure. The lake and secluded area was so wonderful.
